My Journey

Changement Remarquable

A global, realistic and optimistic vision

Since my introduction to the developmental and positive approach in 2017, my professional posture and my vision regarding the development of children, adolescents and even adults has changed considerably. It was as if someone had finally given me a pair of glasses that allowed me to see human development in its entirety.
Over the past few years, I have only been able to see how teaching this approach has also made a significant difference in the lives of the young people and families I have supported as well as in the lives of the adults who gravitate around children and adolescents.

I consider myself a fortunate social worker because, for almost 25 years, I have had the privilege of supporting children, teenagers, adults, families, and couples in developing their resources, knowledge, and solutions to restore balance in their family and social life.

I hold a bachelor's degree in sexology (UQAM) and a master's degree in social work (UdM and the University of Calgary). I believe it is crucial to continue my professional development. Therefore, each year, I attend numerous training sessions on human development and read a multitude of studies and books to ensure that I keep my knowledge up to date.

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working in various settings, including an adolescent rehabilitation center, a suicide prevention center, a primary school specializing in behavioral disorders, a psychosocial intervention clinic, and a mobile team for family crises.
In the last 18 years, I have worked on different programs within a CLSC (Local Community Service Center), but mainly in a youth program.

Formation pour gestionnaires

The combination of my professional experiences and the teachings of my mentor, Mr. Richard Robillard, has awakened my desire to share this knowledge.
Impossible to keep this treasure for myself!
Thus, since 2019, I have offered (alone and in collaboration) training, conferences and clinical supervision on the developmental and positive approach.
I hope to have the pleasure of accompanying you in the discovery and integration of this approach that transforms lives.
